The Alabama Department of Transportation (ALDOT), is proposing to improve several intersections along the South Memorial Parkway (SR-53) Corridor from Veterans Drive SE to south of Weatherly Road in the City of Huntsville. The project will also have some access management and resurfacing of the corridor. The project is 2.3 miles north of the Tennessee River and Madison/Morgan County Line. The deadline to submit comments on the proposed project is November 1, 2021.
